Keeping a regular blog is not always easy. You start with good intentions but a few months in you miss a blog post, or maybe two, and suddenly it has been a month and you have not blogged at all. Then the guilt sets in. It is time to give yourself a break and make a fresh start. I have a simple technique that I have done with many clients. All you need is 10 minutes everyday and a supply of paper and pens.

How I Built a Writer’s Retreat at My Own Kitchen Table (With a Little Help From Claude)
I’ve blocked out five days this week to write my novel at home, built around yoga, M&S dinners and a hard no-email rule. I’m calling it The Quiet Chapter, my own staycation writer’s retreat, planned out with Claude down to Monday’s 7:30am yoga and a Percy Pig tea break. If I don’t reply this week, I haven’t ignored you, I’m somewhere between a restorative pose and a plot hole.
