Most new businesses have quite a wide view of what they do and the sort of visitor they will attract. However, if they are not properly targeting keywords they will not be converting these results into new clients or sales.

(26 May 2011 the EU’s Privacy and Communications Directive) In the UK we were given 12 months grace to make websites compliant. This grace period runs out on 26 May 2012 this year.

It is amazing how many people come to me to design a website with only a vague notion of why they want one…You will build a website without doing any real research, no plan, and often no real idea of how your website will support your business.
Why use WordPress?

As those who know me will testify, I have not always been the biggest fan of Content Mangment Systems (CMS). In my time I have worked on a few large commercial systems and that experience has left me a little cynical. I still come to each new system with a touch of healthy sceptism. However, I have now been using Wordpress, for my own and client sites, since the release of 3.0 back in June last year (June 2010). Why did I make the jump?
Creativity is not about straight lines

There is nothing I enjoy more than that first blank page when I start a new project. I love to move my ideas around, work out how each element will interact with the next. If I’m designing a new interface then I’m sketching out the display, putting in each form element. For me this process is never tidy.
